New headering service for ground source heat systems

Water & Energy Field Services now offer a headering up service for closed loop ground source heat systems.

The service is applicable from single borehole/loop to large commercial multiple loop projects delivering the ground array flow and return into the plant room.

We can provide a turnkey service or a pick and mix approach covering the following:

· Header design & pipe sizing · Supply & installation of header pipe

· Electrofusion & butt fusion welding

· Trenching, sanding & backfilling

· Supply & installation of manifolds

· Pressure testing

· Sanitising

· Carrier fluid selection & filling

· Final connection to heat pump/s

Our engineers have extensive groundworks experience gained from the utilities sector and work to the following technical guides and standards:

· WIS 4-32 –08 (2002). Specification for fusion Jointing of PE pressure pipeline systems using PE80 & PE100.

· WIS 4-32-18 (2003). The choice of pressure rating for PE pipe systems

· BS ISO 12176-2:2008 Plastics pipes and fittings. Equipment for fusion jointing polyethylene systems.
